Description
An easy and delicious marinade for grilling chicken, perfect for BBQ.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, oregano, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken pieces in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade, discarding the used marinade.
- Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, do not marinate chicken for longer than 4 hours as the acid in the lemon juice can break down the protein.
- This marinade works well with chicken breasts, thighs, or wings.
- Adjust the amount of garlic and herbs to your preference.
