Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, oregano, and black pepper.
  2. Place the chicken pieces in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove chicken from marinade, discarding the used marinade.
  6. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, do not marinate chicken for longer than 4 hours as the acid in the lemon juice can break down the protein.
