Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box pound cake mix, baked and cooled according to package directions
  • 2 boxes vanilla pudding mix, prepared according to package directions
  • 2 cups heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries


Instructions

  1. Cut the cooled pound cake into cubes.
  2. In a large trifle dish, layer one-third of the cake cubes.
  3. Spread one-third of the prepared vanilla pudding over the cake layer.
  4. Add half of the sliced strawberries and half of the blueberries over the pudding.
  5. Repeat the layers: another third of the cake, another third of the pudding, and the remaining berries.
  6. Finish with the last layer of cake and the remaining pudding.
  7. Top with the whipped cream.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes
