A festive and easy-to-make trifle layered with cake, pudding, and fresh berries, perfect for your 4th of July celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 box pound cake mix, baked and cooled according to package directions
- 2 boxes vanilla pudding mix, prepared according to package directions
- 2 cups heavy cream, whipped
- 1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Cut the cooled pound cake into cubes.
- In a large trifle dish, layer one-third of the cake cubes.
- Spread one-third of the prepared vanilla pudding over the cake layer.
- Add half of the sliced strawberries and half of the blueberries over the pudding.
- Repeat the layers: another third of the cake, another third of the pudding, and the remaining berries.
- Finish with the last layer of cake and the remaining pudding.
- Top with the whipped cream.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- You can use store-bought pound cake to save time.
- Feel free to use other berries or fruits you enjoy.
- For extra flavor, you can drizzle a little berry liqueur or orange juice over the cake layers.
