A classic Greek salad with a simple homemade dressing.
Ingredients

- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup Kalamata olives
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- For the dressing:
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine, sliced cucumber, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and Kalamata olives.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
- Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the top.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can add green bell pepper slices for extra crunch.
- Fresh oregano can be used instead of dried.
- Adjust the amount of feta cheese to your preference.
