Description
Make a delicious copycat of Disney’s famous Dole Whip. This refreshing treat is easy to make at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup coconut milk (canned, full-fat)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Add the frozen pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, coconut milk, and sugar (if using) to a high-powered blender or food processor.
- Blend on low speed to break down the frozen chunks, using a tamper if your blender has one to push the ingredients towards the blades.
- Increase the speed and continue blending until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with a soft-serve consistency. This may take a few minutes, and you may need to scrape down the sides of the blender a few times.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a tablespoon more pineapple juice at a time and blend until it reaches the desired consistency.
- If the mixture becomes too soft, place it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes before serving.
- Scoop the Dole Whip into bowls or pipe it into cups using a piping bag with a star tip for an authentic look.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a thicker soft serve, use slightly less liquid.
- You can adjust the amount of sugar based on how sweet you like your Dole Whip.
- Using canned, full-fat coconut milk helps achieve a creamier texture.
- This recipe is best enjoyed immediately after making.
