- 3 cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine sliced cucumbers and red onion.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together sour cream (or yogurt), dill, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the cucumber and onion mixture.
- Gently toss to coat everything evenly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
- For best results, use English cucumbers as they have fewer seeds.
- You can substitute red onion with sweet onion if preferred.
- Adjust the amount of dill and sugar to your taste.
