Make patriotic firecracker popsicles with layers of red, white, and blue.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped blueberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Blend strawberries, 1/4 cup water, and 2 tablespoons sugar until smooth.
  2. Pour the strawberry mixture into popsicle molds, filling about one-third of each mold. Freeze for 1 hour.
  3. While the strawberry layer freezes, whisk together the vanilla yogurt and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the yogurt mixture on top of the frozen strawberry layer, filling another one-third of each mold. Freeze for 1 hour.
  5. Blend blueberries, 1/4 cup water, and 2 tablespoons sugar until smooth.
  6. Pour the blueberry mixture on top of the frozen yogurt layer, filling the remaining one-third of each mold. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
  7. To remove popsicles, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar to your taste.
  • You can use other red and blue fruits.
