- 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (from about 6-8 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 cups cold water
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, lightly muddled
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Lemon slices and mint sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the cold water and muddled mint leaves to the pitcher.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, adding more sugar or water to your preference.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the lemonade over ice in glasses.
- Garnish each glass with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint.
Notes
- For a stronger mint flavor, you can muddle the mint leaves more vigorously before adding them to the pitcher.
- You can adjust the amount of sugar based on how sweet you like your lemonade.
