  • 12 large fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 slices bacon


Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Carefully slice each jalapeño pepper in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling it generously.
  5. Wrap one slice of bacon around each stuffed jalapeño half. Secure the bacon with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers on the preheated grill.
  7. Grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the peppers are tender.
