A fresh and easy homemade strawberry vinaigrette dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (for vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Combine the strawberries, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey or maple syrup, and Dijon mustard in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour into a jar or airtight container.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
