Description

Crispy pasta chips made in an air fryer, a popular and easy snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound dry pasta (such as farfalle, rotini, or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cooked pasta with olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  4. Place the seasoned pasta in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches.
  5. Air fry for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the pasta is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the pasta chips from the air fryer and transfer to a serving bowl.
  7. Serve immediately, optionally sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Different pasta shapes will yield different textures.
  • Adjust the seasonings to your preference.
  • Store any leftover pasta chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
