Description

These Peach-Glazed Chicken Thighs are simple to make and full of flavor. The sweet peach glaze caramelizes beautifully on the chicken, creating a delicious and satisfying meal perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup peach preserves
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs, skin-side down, and cook for 8-10 minutes, until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  3. Flip chicken thighs and cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until browned on the other side.
  4. While the chicken cooks, whisk together peach preserves, apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard, minced garlic, and dried thyme in a small bowl to create the glaze.
  5. Pour the peach glaze over the chicken in the skillet. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove lid and increase heat to medium. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, spooning the glaze over the chicken occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and caramelized.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze for a subtle kick.
  • If you prefer boneless, skinless chicken thighs, adjust cooking time accordingly.
  • This dish pairs well with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh green salad.
