  • 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning
  • 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (16 ounce) container prepared guacamole
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion (optional)
  • Tortilla chips, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the refried beans with the taco seasoning. Spread this mixture evenly in the bottom of a large serving dish or a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the sour cream evenly over the refried bean layer.
  3. Carefully spread the guacamole over the sour cream layer.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the guacamole.
  5. Top with the chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped red onion (if using).
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
