  • Total Time: 2 hours 15 minutes (includes chilling time)
  • Yield: 6-8 servings
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A refreshing summer sangria featuring peaches and berries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like triple sec or Cointreau)
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (or to taste)
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and simple syrup.
  2. Add the sliced peaches, mixed berries, and orange slices to the pitcher.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours to allow the flavors to meld. For best results, chill overnight.
  5. Before serving, fill glasses with ice.
  6. Pour the sangria over the ice, making sure to include some of the fruit in each glass.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup.
  • Feel free to use other seasonal fruits like plums, nectarines, or cherries.
  • For a bubbly sangria, top each glass with a splash of club soda or sparkling water just before serving.
  • Use a good quality dry white wine that you enjoy drinking on its own.
